DMCA Policy

Private Match respects intellectual property rights and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA") and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions, we have adopted the following policy governing copyright infringement notices.

1. Reporting Infringement

If you believe that content on our platform infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to our designated agent containing ALL of the following information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorised representative.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a list if multiple works are covered by a single notification).
3. Identification of the infringing material and information sufficient for us to locate it on the platform (URL, screenshot, or description).
4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf.

2. Designated Agent

We recommend sending notices by email for the fastest response.

3. Counter-Notice

If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice containing:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the removed material and the location at which it appeared before removal.
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the courts in your district.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice we may restore the content within 10–14 business days unless the complaining party files a court action.

4. Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and our commitment to copyright protection, we will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.

5. Non-DMCA Jurisdictions

For users in the EU and other jurisdictions, equivalent takedown procedures apply under Directive 2019/790 (DSM Directive) and local copyright law. Use the same contact details above.

6. Image Removal Requests (Non-Consensual Intimate Images)

If intimate images of you have been posted without your consent ("revenge porn"), please contact us immediately at support@example.com. We treat such reports with the highest priority and will act immediately.
